Title: Sacred Heart Healing Center Project Description: As part of a team, we helped build marketing material for Ms Emeterio’s business. A major deliverable of our contract was the website. I was responsible for making sure the website was coded correctly as well as aiding in overall efficiency. The site included a logo redesign. I also presented her with a recommendation report on web hosting.
Issues: Working with the client’s requests. Working effectively as a team. Minimizing download speeds for dial up users by efficiently coding.
Solutions: We worked out a system that allowed for group collaboration while fulfilling the client’s needs. One group member concentrated on the actual design and layout of the site. The other was given the task of creating the flash files. I combed through the code to reduce redundant code and to optimize efficiency. I also helped out the other group members whenever possible.
Software/Skills: Macromedia Dreamweaver and Adobe Photoshop. HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Ability to work in a group.
