Issues: My father lacked working technical knowledge to get all appropriate materials together. Someone needed to register a domain name and find a hosting company. Organizing the content into a flowing and user friendly environment. Allow for easy updates.
Solutions: I asked my father for all appropriate information. I created the site using a current CSS web formatting strategy. This helps the site to be flexible, accessible, and compliment. The site uses no JavaScript at all and even uses CSS for the roll-over navigation. The horizontal tabs are actually a formatted unordered list. I found cheap hosting with 1&1 Internet Inc. I provided direct links to the subdivision locations as found on Google Maps.
Software/Skills: CSS, HTML, Photoshop, Accessibility, Web Standards. Knowledge of domains and hosting.
