Title: Sephiroth / Alan Project Description: The assignment was to clone our own face professionally over some other face of our choosing using advanced Photoshop techniques. I used an illustration of the fictional character Sephiroth to clone my face onto.
Issues: The key to this assignment was cloning of texture to closely match the original. It should look so natural that it is hard to tell at first glance that our edits were not the originals. The character I choose has un-human facial proportions so simply cloning over was not an option.
Solutions: I had to re-construct much of the face over my own. The original being a painting led me to use certain techniques over other ones to match texture. I used the brush tool more often than usual to re-create the feeling of the painting. I used a variety of advanced Photoshop techniques to complete and polish up this piece of work.
Software/Skills: Advanced Photoshop skills. Cloning and re-creating texture.
